How Cute Is This??????

My aunt bought this for me. Isn't it just cute? She found it at a second hand shop in Alexandria. I also went to the yarn shop again, and got more yarn. I bought 3 skeins
This one is alpaca sox. I'm so gonna love knitting this up into socks!!!!
These are Happy feet sock yarn (are you seeing a pattern here?) My enabler, dealer, pusher, LYS owner Deb is great! I've been there quite a few times (imagine that). And every single time I leave with at least one skein of yarn. The SIL left with 8 once (HEH). (I shoulda got 10% off on that deal) (hi Deb hehehe)
And isn't he just cute. The hubby wen out to feed the horses this evening and comes back to show us this. The poor lil guy was a lil hungry and the hubby had left a 5 gallon bucket with some grain in there and Fred fell in He was set free about 4 minutes after the picture was taken. He was just hungry and after the grain. I might have to start putting cat food in the barn for him. Or not. I'm sure there is enough grain layin around from the horse slobberin and tipping feed pans for him to scrounge up.

And another sock on the needles. I just finished these: They are for the lil turd. They fit her, but just barely. So I started another pair for her with the yarn I got from my Sil. I cast on 4 more stitches so they should fit better and longer. I have a lot of the purple yarn left so it's not a problem to knit another pair of those. Yeah it's winter and I have a lot of time on my hands.......

Woo Hoo New Stuff

Wow!!!! I went yarn shopping on Friday and look at the stuff I got!!! I really went all out. I'm almost ashamed (yeah riiiiight) of what I bought. I got 3 skeins of yarn (one on clearance yea me!!!) and 2 at regualr price. But what I think rocks was I got a book by The Yarn Harlot. I got "At Knits End". I haven't started it yet due to playing with one of the new skeins of yarn. (making lil turd socks) I also got a set of Addi dpns in the 4" size 2. I'm not real sure I'm liking these yet. I bought them to knit lil turd socks and figured with lil socks they'd be allright. They are but I'm not quite used to them being so short yet. I usually knit with the 6" dpns and they fit quite well. I once used the 8" oned and had to switch after a few rounds because they kept catching on my sleeves (aaarrrrgggggg!!!!) They drove me nuts. That's the reason I was drinking the other night (Heh). The yarn I got on sale is for the father in law. He was there to pick it out. I just have to find a pattern that won't blow my mind like the ones I started for him Dec. 31st and have yet to make it to the heel flap on the first sock(lame). (me not the sock). The sock is pretty nice, or would be if I ever got the stupid thing done.

That's the yarn I bought for the lil turd socks. It's a 50 gram skein so I should be able to get 2 maybe 3 pair out of it. Good thing for little feet. I did make her one pair already.

Yes, they look like my Razor Shell socks, because I used the same yarn. I had some left over so I decided her feet would look cute in that yarn. (More lameness).
I really should try to quit being so lame, I just can't help it.

It's in the genes.
